On the edge of the roadway adjacent to the bike lanes next to the British Army memorial. Plaque
A polished black inscribed marble setting in a garden next to a sent of benches.
The memorial remembers "Easy Company" of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Divsion and their actions in the area during Operation Market Garden in September 1944. The plaque lists the soldiers of Easy Company Killed in Action in this battle.
The memorial is adjacent to a British Army Unit, the 44th Royal Tank Regiment and a plaque to the "C"Company, 326th Airborne Engineer Battalion who Easy Company fought along side during a battle in this town.
