Details:

On the north side of the road as it runs into the traffic circle Monument

A large stone column topped by the sculpture of an eagle and inlaid with bronze plaques on three sides. The plaques list the KIA and MIA at the Battle of St. Mihiel and in other actions nearby.

The Vigneulles Monument commemorates the St Mihiel Salient campaign where 98 First Division soldiers were killed and another 489 wounded.
