Behind the gas station, in a grove of trees behind the information sign. Monument


A ten meter high polished black granite stele containing the names of the 775 division members who fell in the fighting across Germany and into the Czech Republic from 8 February through 7 May 1945.  The division insignia is on the front of the stele.

It is one of five World War 2 memorials placed by the 1st Infantry Division in Europe.
