On the base of the war memorial of the cemetery.

Plaque

A rectangular bronze plaque inscribed with simple text that is written in French commemorating Cpt Robert Swanzy and SSgt Lupe Montana. Of the crew members, these two were the only casualties of the plane crash during their mission to attack the marshaling yards of Nimes. The rest of the crew members survived. They were crew on the B-24 Liberator "TS" (42-52478) of the 783rd Bomber Squadron, 465th Bomber Group, 15th Air Force.
