Off the Rue de Broyes in the town hall gardens.

Monument
A stone frame supporting a black plaque bearing inscriptions of US airmen that crashed in the area during WWII.

The monument remembers the crew of B-17 (42-31325) of the 730th Bomber Squadron, 452nd Bomber Group of the 8th Air Force that was shot down after a mission to Frankfurt on February 8, 1944.  One of the crew, Abe Rosenthal was KIA, there others either evaded capture or were captured and went to POW camps.
