Tucked in a small clearing by the side of the road, on the edge of the D254.


Monument
A tiny obelisk set on a star stone base bearing a black plaque with gold lettering commemorating American aviators. A gravel plot with four small plants located at its corners decorate the monument.

The memorial remembers to the crew of the B-24 Liberator 'Devil Dream' (42-7581) of the 706th Bomber Squadron, 446th Bomb Group, "The Bungay Buckaroos" that crashed near here on December 31, 1943.
