2nd Lt Charles V. Frascati, pilot of the B-24 42-7581 “Devil Dream”, took off from Station 125, Bungay, UK on a bombing mission to La Rochelle. The plane was evacuated at 1210, the crew bailing out at 11000 feet. He landed safely but was captured and sent to Stalag Luft 1 at Barth-Vogelsang.
