A weathered vertical stone pillar planted in a bed of gravel with two black plaques attached to it. The top and bottom ones have gold and white letters, respectively.

English translation:
This monument was erected in honor of the crew of the B-17 of the USAF that crashed on Keranpres May 17th 1943 and in gratitude to the inhabitants of Chateauneuf-du-Faou, Landeleau, Plonevez-du-Faou, who helped US and British aviators during the 1939-1945 war.
