Guerino A. Luciani was born on March 13, 1918, in Woodbridge, New Haven County, Connecticut. He was the son of Ettore Luciani and Lena Longo Luciani. T4 Luciani served in the United States Army with the 740th Tank Battalion in World War II. Known as the “Daredevil Tankers”, the 740th was a separate battalion that fought from Utah Beach all the way to the Baltic Sea in support of various divisions of the US war effort.

T4 Luciani died on August 23, 1996, and is now buried in the East Side Burying Ground, Woodbridge, New Haven County, Connecticut, USA.
