Isolated Burial

A standard CWGC flat gravestone.

The Isolated Burial (ISOB) of Private John Aitken who served in the 2nd Battalion of the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders. He was born in Scotland and immigrated to the US and lived in Andover, Massachusetts.  He returned to Scotland att eh beginning of the First World War and was killed while seriving on the Salonika Front in Greece on Spetmber 30, 1916.  He was the son of Robert James and Mary Christie Aitken, of 50, Morris St., Paterson, New Jersey, U.S.A.
