On the north side of D14. The plaque is placed on the base of the monument.
Plaque
A free-standing rectangular black plaque written in French in gold lettering honoring 1Lt Hartman who was a member of the 84th Fighter Squadron, part of the 78th Fighter Group in the 8th Air Force during World War II. Lt Hartman was killed when his airplane was shot down by an enemy fighter on January 5, 1944.
