The plaque is affixed to the base of the monument.
A small, rectangular, granite plaque bearing a commemoration message that is written in French in gold lettering. The plaque was placed on the monument in June 2013.
2Lt Arnold’s plane, P-51 # 44-13307 ‘Butch’, crashed in La Dibois near the town of Baguer-Morvan after being shot down by a small arms fire.
