8th ID DIVARTY Command Team Plaque

Details:

On the upper left corner behind the Medal of Honor monument.

Plaque A small silver metal plaque attached on a large white hewn boulder. The plaque commemorates the soldiers of the 8^th ID DIVARTY Command Team who were killed when their Bell UH-1H Iroquois helicopter crashed on the edge of a field near Unteralterheim while flying from the unit's barracks at Baumholder to the Army training grounds at Grafenwohr.
