The site contains a monument commemorating the crew of the B-17 #41-24344 "The Big Bitch" that crashed here during World War II.

The site is situated on the north side of Mengleuz, about 2km north of Saint-Vougay town center. From Bodillo, D30, and Coat Kernouen intersection, take the road to the west which is indicated by a small sign called "21 October 1942" that leads to the location of the stele. Less than 500m further on, the stele is on the right on a large lawn well visible from the road.
