The site is located on the border of Germany and the Netherlands along the Wurm River between Übach-Palenberg, Germany and Landgraaf, Netherlands. Übach-Palenberg is a town in the Heinsberg district of North Rhine-Westphalia. The site also known as Oorlogsmonument Rimburg, is adjacent to Schloss (Castle) Rimburg, just across the pedestrian bridge over the river near theMahnmal des Friedens Peace memorial.
