A covered cross with a brass plaque at the base.

 

The memorial remembers the fallen of all sides during the attack on the West Wall in October 1944.  The memorial also marks the location of the first breach of the West Wall by the 117th Infantry Regiment of the 30th “Old Hickory” Infantry Division on October 2, 1944.
