Oscar E. Heinrich was born in 1909 in St. Louis City, Missouri. He was the son of Hans Heinrich and Gertrude E. Becker Heinrich. He served in Oklahoma and Mississippi after training in Ft Leonard Wood, Missouri. Oscar served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a First Lieutenant in the 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died on January 21, 1945 during the Battle of the Bulge and is now buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium.
