From the A36 get off onto the D50 at Baumes-Les-Dames. Take it southbound to Vercel-Villedieu-le-Camp. From there, take the D132 south to Avoudrey then the D31 north to Pierrefontaine-les-Varans. The monument is 1000m from the edge of Avoudrey, 100m down a road branching north from the D31.
