The Imjingak Pyeonghwa Nuri Park (also known as the ‘’Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) Peace Park’’) is located in Paju, along the southern side of the Imjin River, about 50 kilometers northwest of Seoul and 10 kilometers southwest of Joint Security Area at Panmunjom within the DMZ between North and South Korea. Park is situated adjacent to the eastern end of Freedom Bridge, a former train bridge that once was the only road link between Seoul and Panmunjom.
