The site is situated on the eastern outskirts of the Heilbronn, about 7.5 km southeast of the town center. The site is located about 150 meters above the city, the site was once a U.S. Army Field Artillery Pershing missile combat alert location and has since been transformed into Waldheide Nature Park. There are walking paths leading to the memorial, and visitors can access it on foot from the nearby parking area at Waldheide.
