The site is located in the forest adjacent to Lake Hasselfurth (Etang de Hasselfurth) in Bitche, France. The site is located off a wooded trail from the lake. East of the Hasselfurth lake is a playground is the starting point for a 400 m-long signposted path leading back to the memorial site.
