The site is located in Kovářská in Czechia. Kovářská, formerly called Schmiedeberg, is near the German border in the Ústí nad Labem Region. The sire is located next to the Staff Sergeant JC Kluttz School (Mateřská Škola Při ZŠ Sgt. J. C. Kluttze) named in honor of an American Airmen and on the 1LT Albert Trommer Street (Alberta E. Trommera), also named in honor of an American pilot. The name of the museum locally is Muzeum letecké bitvy nad Krušnohořím. See Museum website for opening times.
