The site is situated in the town center about 1.6 km meters northwest of the town hall. Specifically, it is situated in the area known as Hancock Field or Cabbage Patch, which was a significant site during the D-Day landings of World War II. The memorial site is along D974 about 180 meters south of Rue Marcel Laudescher, Rue de la Magdeleine, and Rue de Blactot roundabout.
