Description:

The site includes one memorial along the Chemin de Memoire (Road of Memory) remembering the liberation of the city by the 7th Armored Division in August 1944.

The site is located just west of the famous Chartres Cathedral next to the Place Châtelet and the the memorial remembering General De Gaulle. At the Médiathèque Bus stop on the N23.
