The site is situated about 190 meters northeast of Arromanches-les-Bains town hall, overlooking the remains of the former Mulberry B artificial harbor. It is located at the intersection of Place du Six Juin 1944, Rue F. Jourdan de la Passardière, and Rue Lucien Joly, on the very site where the Allies established one of the two artificial harbors beginning on June 7, 1944, to supply the forces engaged in the Battle of Normandy.
