Description:
The memorial remembers the various air forces which operated in the area during WW2; in particular, the base at Ramitelli which was the base for the US 332nd Fighter Group, the Tuskegee Airmen.

The site is located on a seaside road in the town of Campomarino. Campomarino is comune in the Province of Campobasso, in the Italian region Molise, located about 50 kilometers (31 mi) northeast of Campobasso, and about 5 kilometers (3 mi) southeast of Termoli. The site is located just outside a beach area (Lido) in the entryway to the sea.
