The site is located in a housing development on “Liberator” Drive about one mile west of the Kirkwall town center. Kirkwall is the largest town of Orkney, an archipelago to the north of mainland Scotland. Orkney also known as the Orkney Islands, is an archipelago in the Northern Isles of Scotland, situated off the north coast of the island of Great Britain. The largest island, Mainland, is often referred to as "the Mainland". The site is located in the center of the housing development.
