The site is located in a wooded area about six kilometers northwest of the town of Konigstein im Taunus on a hill called the Steinkopf. The Steinkopf is located about 25 kilometers from Frankfurt and located in the German state of Hesse between the cities of Konigstein and Ruppertshain. The site is about 500 meters along the Weryweg forest path from the Naturfreundehaus Billtalhöhe - a gasthaus, or German style Inn.
