The site is located in the town of Scarperia in the neighborhood (Frazione) of Ponzalla. Located in the Mugello area of the Region on Tuscany in the province of Florence (Firenze), the site is located on the road (SP 503) the US Army used to attack the Giogo Pass in 1944. The site is located on the right side of the road headed to the pass north of the medieval town of Scarperia
