Site is located on the beach where MacArthur landing in October 1944 (Red Beach), in the city of Palo, in the province of Leyte, Philippines. Leyte is a province in the Philippines located in the Eastern Visayas region, occupying the northern three-quarters of Leyte Island. Memorial can be reached from Manlurip Road just east of Pan Philipinne Hwy (Route AH2), on the left when traveling south.
