The site is located on the west side of the town of Montignoso in the frazione (neighborhood) of Cinquale on the Tuscan sea-side between the Mediterranean Sea and the Apuan Alps mountain range. The site is located on the bank of the River Versilia near the confluence with the Mediterranean Sea. The site sites next to a monument to the Italian Resistance/Partisan movement during World War 2 just off the major beach side street of Lungomare di Levante.
