The site is located in downtown Nettuno, – the city of Baseball, brought there by US troops during WW2. The site is located in San Gallo Fort (Forte San Gallo) or Castello San Gallo- a 15th Century fort located in the city’s old medieval quarters. The city of Nettuno also is the home of the Sicily-Rome American Memorial Cemetery.
