The site in located in the small town of Andraž nad Polzelo which in the municipality of Polzela in the region of Savinja in Slovenia. It lies in the Ložnica Hills north of Polzela and south of Velenje. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria, 45 kilometers northeast of the capital of Ljubljana. The site is located next to the town cemetery about 250 meters north from the Church of St. Andrej (Cerkev Sv. Andrej).
