Jackson Allen, aged 32, was born on May 27, 1886. He entered the military service in South Carolina and served in the 371st Infantry Regiment, 93rd Division (Colored) as a Private during World War I. Jackson died on October 1, 1918 and is now buried in the Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery and Memorial, Romagne-sous-Montfaucon, Departement de la Meuse, Lorraine, France. He also has a cenotaph located in Center Rabun Baptist Church Cemetery, Gray Court, Laurens County, South Carolina, USA.
