When Maxwell R. "Max" Roshon was born in 1895 in Seville, Ohio, his father, Delford, was 28 and his mother, Frances, was 25. He had two sisters. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Machine Gun Company, 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action in 1918 at Cantigny, France and is now buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wadsworth, Medina County, Ohio, USA.
