Ray M. Bishop is the son of Mr. Lawson E. & Mrs. Anna C. (Campbell) Bishop of Lewistown, Illinois. He was born in 1892. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Medical Detachment of the 7th Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died on May 18, 1918 and is now buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lewistown, Fulton County, Illinois, USA.
