When Omer Forrest Brown was born on March 22, 1916, in Bayonne, New Jersey, his father, Omer, was 32 and his mother, Emily, was 32. He married Frances Elizabeth Sprott on September 18, 1941, in Florence, South Carolina. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Captain in the 117th Reconnaissance Squadron (Mechanized). He entered service in New Jersey. He died on August 25, 1944 during the invasion of southern France. He is now buried at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia, USA.
