Born 28 August 1920 From Erie County, New York Enlisted 12 August 1942 with a year of high school education. Part of MACR #745 Ball Turret Gunner for the B-17 42-30646 when it was shot down on 4 October 1943. Placed in a POW camp at Stalag Luft 6 Heydekrug, which is near Heydekrug, East Prussia, with 20 other American POWs on 4 October 1943 and was there until 22 September 1944, when he was finally returned to military control. He passed away in April of 1979 while living in Buffalo, New York.
