Born in 1922 in Germany Raised in Kings County, New York 4 Years of high school education Worked as a clerk in a financial institution before enlisting. Enlisted 14 October 1942 Part of MACR #745 Bombardier for the B-17 42-30646 when it was shot down on 4 October 1943. Taken as POW after parachuting into Weisbaum. He was last reported on 29 June 1945 therefore he was imprisoned for almost 2 years. He eventually was liberated.
