Harold L. Myrhow was born in 1919 in North Dakota. A paratrooper, he participated in the North African campaign and died in the invasion of Sicily in July, 1943. Before joining the service in April, 1942, he had worked in the diet kitchen at Fort George Wright. He went overseas in May, 1943. PFC Myrhow is now buried in the Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy.
