Danilo S. Docallos studied Civil Engineering at the University of Mindanao before continuing his education at Cebu Institute of Technology, graduating in 1978. He enlisted in the United States Navy the same year. He served for over two decades as a Construction Electrician Chief (CEC), a Chief Petty Officer (CPO) in the Navy Seabees, leading electrical construction, maintenance, and infrastructure projects in support of military operations. Following his retirement from the Navy in 1999, he joined NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, where he served as the Space Flight Operations Facility Maintenance Supervisor from 2000 until his retirement on February 23, 2018. Danilo is married to Gloria Buaron Docallos and is also an alumnus of the Notre Dame of Dadiangas University High School Department, Class of 1972.
