Danhil F. Chicano served as Command Pay and Personnel Administrator with Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 125 (VAW-125) in Japan from July 2014 to August 2018, followed by nearly four years as Fleet Program Manager at U.S. Navy Personnel Command (COMNAVPERSCOM) in Tennessee from August 2018 to June 2022, where he managed the Overseas Screening Program, revised fleet-wide personnel instructions, assisted in developing Navy mobile applications, and reviewed medical and congressional personnel cases. From June 2022 to March 2023, he served as Pay Supervisor with Command Task Force Five in Bahrain before becoming Personnel Officer from November 2022 to August 2025 and Department Head for Administration from July to December 2023. He later served as Leading Petty Officer (Petty Officer First Class) from January 2024 to December 2025, before earning his commission through Officer Candidate School after seven application attempts.

Since December 2025, Chicano has served as N41 Travel Officer with Maritime Expeditionary Security Group TWO (MESG-2) in Virginia Beach, Virginia, overseeing travel budgets, audits, training, and command travel programs. Alongside his military service, he pursued higher education, earning an Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies from Saint Leo University (2016–2018), followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from the same institution (2019–2021), graduating cum laude. He then completed a Master of Business Administration in International Business at Troy University (2022–2024) while serving on active duty, and later earned a second Master of Business Administration in Department of Defense Project Management from American Military University (2023–2025).
