William P. Deville has served in the United States Navy since January 2000, building more than 26 years of experience in engineering, maintenance, and senior enlisted leadership. He currently serves as the Senior Enlisted Leader for the Navy Closure Task Force – Red Hill (since July 2024), providing on-site leadership in support of the Navy's closure and environmental remediation mission. Previously, he was the 3M Coordinator/Inspector aboard USS Howard (DDG-83) in Yokosuka, Japan (2021–2024), overseeing maintenance management and inspection programs. From 2017 to 2021, he served as the Fuel Department Leading Chief Petty Officer at Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) in Yokosuka, where he led 45 military personnel and 281 master labor specialists in the safe and efficient operation of eight Defense Fuel Support Points across the Western Pacific. Earlier assignments included serving as Auxiliary Division Leading Chief Petty Officer aboard USS Wayne E. Meyer (DDG-108) (2013–2017), supervising 16 technicians responsible for the maintenance and repair of more than 150 auxiliary and aviation systems, LCPO/Operations/Admin Officer at the CFAY Correctional Facility in Yokosuka (2010–2013), and Main Propulsion Leading Petty Officer aboard USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD-6) in 2008. He attended Burbank High School from 1996 to 1998 before beginning his naval career.
