Gilbert V. Bitanga is a distinguished U.S. Navy leader with more than two decades of service in supply management, logistics, hospitality, housing, and executive leadership. Throughout his naval career, he held key positions including Financial Analyst, Supply Manager, Emergency Management Officer, Supply Department Leading Chief Petty Officer aboard several naval installations and ships, Hospitality and Food Service Director, Command Master Chief at Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka, and Housing Director, where he has served since November 2017, overseeing the management and strategic operation of government-owned housing facilities. Recognized for leading large organizations, managing multimillion-dollar budgets, and improving operational efficiency, he earned numerous accolades for excellence in customer service, hospitality, and supply operations. Complementing his extensive military experience, Bitanga earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of La Verne and a Master of Arts in Public Administration from National University, while also completing advanced leadership and executive education at the U.S. Air Force Senior Enlisted Academy, Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business, and Wharton Executive Education.
