Noboru Nakamura was born on March 27, 1925. He was the son of Misayo Nakamura. He served in the 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, as a Private First Class and Light Weapons Infantryman during the Korean War.

PFC Nakamura was Killed in Action on September 18, 1951, during the Battle of Heartbreak Ridge in North Korea. He is now buried in the Maui Veterans Cemetery, Makawao, Maui County, Hawaii, USA.
