Jesus Iriarte Toves was born on September 3, 1933, in Guam. He was the son of Pedro Lujan and Juana Iriarte Toves. He served in the 160th Infantry Regiment, 40th Infantry Division, as a Private during the Korean War.
Pvt Toves was Killed in Action on April 16, 1952, and is now buried in the Agana Cemetery, Hagatna (Agana), Guam. His name is also commemorated on Guam’s Korean War Memorial in Hagåtña.
