Amadeo Antonio A. Cruz was born on January 8, 1929, in Guam. He served in the 160th Infantry Regiment, 40th Infantry Division, as a Private First Class during the Korean War.
PFC Cruz was Killed in Action on May 18, 1952, in North Korea. He is now buried in the Agana Cemetery, Hagatna (Agana), Guam. His name is also commemorated on Guam’s Korean War Memorial in Hagåtña.
