Emanuel Borg was born on March 15, 1928, in Gozo and Comino, Malta, and emigrated to the United States as a child. He was the son of Guzepp and Guzeppa Borg. He served in Company B, 1st Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, as a Private during the Korean War.
Pvt Borg died on May 8, 1952, in North Korea. He is now buried in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Qala, Gozo and Comino, Malta.
