Terrence Frederick Reinhart was born on August 5, 1920, in Aquashicola, Carbon County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Miles Emmanuel "Doc" Reinhart and Emma Elizabeth Deppe Reinhart. He was a graduate of Palmerton High School, and he also completed a year of welding training at the NYA Center in Coatesville. Before entering military service, he was employed by the New Jersey Zinc Company in Palmerton. He was inducted into the service on August 10, 1943, from Palmerton. He completed his basic training at Camp Fannin, Texas, and was sent overseas in March. He served in the 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, as a Private during World War II.
Pvt Reinhart was Killed in Action on September 3, 1944, during the Battle of Brest, France. He is now buried in the Brittany American Cemetery and Memorial, Saint-James, Département de la Manche, Basse-Normandie, France.
