Raymond F. Pfaff was born in 1908, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Horace and Annie Pfaff. He was married to Edna K. Pfaff. He served in Company F, 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, as a Private during World War II.

Pvt Pfaff was Killed in Action on September 2, 1944, during the Battle of Brest, France. He is now buried in the Christ Union Cemetery, Trumbauersville, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA.
